Week 16 West London b1+ Careers mind map



Students in west London class were busy making their mind maps on careers.  Students chose in their opinions the most in demand jobs. Then had to add descriptions and pros and cons for each career.

East London Week 15 B1 Historical Events


Students in East London class did presentations on historical events and people that changed the world we live in today. Students spoke about the first cell phone the moon landing the man who made the first radio and more. 

Week 15 East London b1 Consequences



Students discussed and wrote positive and negative consequences to certain actions. 

For example if Stuart spent all his savings on a computer what would the consequences be?? Good and bad??

Students enjoyed the discussions of different actions.

Week 15 West London B1+ Information gap crossword




Students in west London class were given information gap crosswords. One student had the answers for words going across and one student had the answers for words going down. 

Students had clues for each other to help them get the missing personalities in their crosswords and they had to help each other figure them out by describing it or doing actions or naming people who are like that personality in the classroom. 

Students enjoyed it as some had not done crosswords before.

Week 13 West London B1 Acting the gestures






Students in west London class were learning different gestures used all over the world. Students were put into groups of 4 with one student not allowed to speak and doing the gestures. The rest of the group had to say exactly the right meaning as the gesture. Then writing using modals and adverbs what their group member was gesturing.

I think he may/might be saying hello 
or 
he is probably/could be telling us to be quiet. 



Week 13 East London A2+ Technology Poster







Students in East London class were told to make posters of one type of technology they discussed in class and draw or print a picture of it and label all its parts. Once labelled all parts needed to have a description of how you use it. 

Week 13 East London A2+ mind maps of topics


Students did mind maps of their chosen topics for their presentations in week 17. Students had to think of the topics they will talk about during their presentation and what pictures they will need for each part of the presentation.

Week 13 West London B1 that's what it means!! Emoticons






Students in west London class discussed what gestures signs and emoticons are.

They were then given a sheet of different emoticons. Students in groups had to chose 10 emoticons and describe their meaning and when they would use each one. 


Week 13 East London technology and its uses


Students listed different types of technology they use regularly today. They then had to write two different uses for each technology.
